So here comes the New Year.

2012 was an important year for me. It was my first full year of living in the U.K., it was the year I completed my first year on my BA Photography program at London College of Communication and went into my second, it was where I became involved with what I can truthfully exclaim as the love of my life, and it was a full year of self-discovery in my art, my life, and my self, part of which is still occurring. Although it went by faster than I anticipated, I'm glad it went the way it did, and I can only hope for an even better time this year.

The funny (but not really so funny, at all) part about time is that when you think about it intently and watch it closely, staring at the clock or waiting around for some 'miracle' to happen - It goes by very slowly, almost as if you're frozen in stagnant water that has no way of cleaning itself. However, when you actually do something; when you make your life a schedule full of tasks and accomplishments waiting to be done, it flies right on by - As if time doesn't even exist at all. Sometimes that can be disheartening, to feel like your life is passing you by so quickly that you don't know how to slow it down, or even if you realise that perhaps, you should in fact slow it down, it seems a bit too late to catch what you wanted to spend time on..But that's the importance of realising that you have one life to live, and to make the most of it that you can, no matter what.
