Last night I discovered the photographic work of Michal Macku while browsing through the Travel Issue of the 'zine Vignette. I was immediately stricken by his images, but even more so by the process he termed as 'Gellage' in creating his prints - Lifting/seperating the emulsion from photographic paper and placing it on new paper, creating a distortion of the image. I knew this was possible with polaroids, but not with standard photo paper..
This is definitely something that has to be tried.
A (somewhat) basic photo diary of my images and other work that I find inspiring in creating my own. All images owned by/copyrighted by myself, unless stated otherwise. Please ask permission before use.
